Behold the power of trees!

My dear friend Laura recently got married in a state park on Arbor Day.

It was not the first for either of them, and so they didn’t want any gifts. But I had the perfect gift in mind for them, so I got them one anyway.

I bought trees in their honor through the National Arbor Day Foundation.  The trees will be planted in a state forest and they’ll help to make a corner of the world a better place.
