The Rebound Guy

Filed under: Uncategorized — jenniferelbaum @ 6:17 pm

As a rule, I don’t like “revenge sex” stories. How am I supposed to care about a character who sets out to use sex as a weapon? I can’t. Usually.

But to every rule there is an exception, right? I read that exception today.

It’s “The Rebound Guy” by Jennifer Colgan. www.jennifercolgan.com

I don’t want to give too much away, but I will say that it’s about a lot more than “revenge sex” when Lauren, having caught her boyfriend in a compromising position with another woman, shows up on her best friend Eric’s doorstep looking to soothe her wounded ego.

Hot sex (and a believable love story) on a cold winter’s night! Check it out for yourself!

  1. Thank you, Jen! The idea actually sprung up from the thought of how much guilt the heroine would feel after the ‘revenge sex.’ I wanted to see if I could make a heroine sympathetic after she’d done something that she couldn’t look herself in the eye for. I’m glad you liked it!
