Indulge romantic fantasies…they’re good for you

Prevention recently had an article that caught my eye:

Stop Pain with Romance
Filling your mind with romantic fantasies can lower stress and boost your mood. In a study at Johns Hopkins University, students who were thinking about a romantic activity were able to keep their hands in excruciatingly cold water for twice as long as those who were thinking of a nonsexual experience. They were also less anxious, depressed, and angry.

  1. Well, dang. If thinking about romantic fantasies lowers your stress level, romance writers should be the most stree-free people in the world. I should have the consistency of wet spaghetti.
