8 Things You Don’t Know About Me

Filed under: Uncategorized — jenniferelbaum @ 9:56 am

Kat (http://katwriter.blogspot.com/) tagged me and I can’t resist.

 1) I don’t/won’t eat white bread, gravy, pea soup, or brussel sprouts.

2) I walk, talk, and try to kill beasts/people in my sleep. (Don’t you feel sorry for my DH?!?)

3) I have a bit of a crush on Stephen King (don’t ask)

4) My favorite book of all time is not a literary classic. Heck, it’s not even an adult book. I read it when I was about seven — though I think it’s meant for a considerably older kid so don’t go giving it to a seven-year-old and then complaining to me about the violence — called “Horse of Two Colors” by Glenn Balch.

5) My closest friends are all “talkers”. (I’m not, so this creates a harmonious balance in our relationships. I have mastered the art of  “uh huh”.)

6) I like to walk. I hate to run, always did, even as a young kid. I think I’m genetically programmed to be a tortise and not a hare.  I’m in training to walk the NYC Marathon in November. Do you have any idea how long it will take to WALK 26.2 miles!?

7) I will happily listen to the same song 100 times in a row. This drives the people around me batty.

8) I don’t forward chain letters, tags. etc for fear of pissing people off.

  3. The lima beans from my garden (when I lived in the Garden State) were DELICIOUS!
