“All About Evie” by Beth Ciotta

Combine comedy, suspense, and romance and you’ve got the successful combination that makes up “All About Evie” by Beth Ciotta. (http://bethciotta.com/allaboutevie.htm)

Having embarrassed herself by losing her professional cool at an audition in Atlantic City, Evie desperately jumps at the next job offered to her by her manager/ex-husband.  Now she’s got a gig on a cruise ship, but it’s not what this actress was expecting. She’s playing “Sugar” a ditzy, former Vegas showgirl and the husband of wealthy novelist Arch, and she doesn’t know all the rules (or any of the players) as “Sugar” and Arch play their own game of “To Catch a Thief.”

Evie is an endearing character that I rooted for from page one and the book is a fun, sexy page-turner. I can’t wait to read the next in the series to find out what happens!

  1. Awwwww. Thanks so much for the awesome write-up, Jen! I’m so glad you enjoyed ALL ABOUT EVIE. Loved how you descibed the set up of the story. Here’s hoping you’re equally pleased with Evie’s second adventure. 🙂

  2. I’m sure I’ll be equally pleased — I’m just not pleased about the wait.
