Progress (or lack of)

Filed under: Uncategorized — jenniferelbaum @ 8:46 am

Today, as part of my walking program, I did a “hill” workout. Up and down the same two hills over and over again for 40 minutes. In the rain. It did not leave me feeling enthusiastic about my progress.

My progress on Stolen is even slower than I thought. Right now the word count is at a paltry 44,455 words. Awful.

And my progress on ES. I have no idea, because all those notes are still scribbled in on the pages of the manuscript.

Perhaps tomorrow will bring better weather and more pages.

  1. Do you work on two works at once?

  2. LOL — I wish I worked on two pieces at once. Right now I’m working on:
two novels: a thriller and an urban fantasy plus a screenplay (drama) and a play (also a drama) and two nonfiction books.
Yes, I am the very definition of scatterbrained!

  3. Yikes. My brain scrambles just thinking about all that. I tried to work on two books at once a while back but my characters revolted and jumped stories. 🙂

  4. Any kind of work out is progress in my book. My triumph for yesterday was not getting killed by my own umbrella.

  5. I fought an umbrella too, but mine didn’t open in the car. How scary for you!
